Alison Teegarden is a professional learning coach, focused on literacy. For the past 10 years she has served Kentucky’s public school students as an instructional coach, RTI specialist, and elementary school teacher. Alison has completed undergraduate and graduate work at Georgetown College, EKU, and University of the Cumberlands where she received degrees in Communication and Education, and endorsements for Teacher Leadership and Reading Recovery. Alison aspires to create positive change in Northern Kentucky and beyond.
Amelia is a 2017-2019 Hope Street Group teaching fellow. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Kentucky University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Xavier University. As a National Board Certified teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy, Amelia has 17 years experience in grades K through 5 as well as reading intervention. She is passionate about literacy, family engagement, student engagement, technology integration, school culture, and high expectation for all learners.
