This training is for teachers of grades K-2 students and focuses on the foundational skills and concepts necessary for the success of counting and cardinality, compositions and decompositions of number, and strategies based on place value.
Participants will:
- develop and/or expand teacher knowledge base of early numeracy sense, as well as deepen the conceptual understanding of the common core standards related to number and operations.
- be introduced to instructional strategies for teaching content and differentiating instruction.
